Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Float between multiple facility locations as assigned, with shift location notifications provided 2–4 hours prior to the start of each shift
- Provide respiratory therapy services across Respiratory and Neuro Diagnostics departments
- Maintain compliance with all facility-required modules, completed pre-start and annually
- Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
- Fulfill annual hands-on competency requirements if on a continuous or returning contract spanning calendar years
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in the applicable specialty
- Active NBRC Certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
- Active BLS Certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Must pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) within 12 months of start date; updated annually — facility is strictly nicotine-free with no exceptions
- Two professional references required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
- No license hits of any kind; background hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a float or multi-site capacity across hospital departments
- Familiarity with neuro diagnostics procedures in addition to core respiratory therapy competencies
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to varying clinical environments and shift assignments
