Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient status, and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Participate in infant-driven feeding practices in alignment with facility protocols, including Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification requirements
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility policy
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Virginia RN license (must be in hand by the Wednesday before the start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification required (may be submitted with certification pending)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• References required
• Candidates must not exceed 365 total assignment days per facility separation policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with infant-driven feeding protocols
