Contract | Mids Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite — Note: The first three weeks of the contract will require working a day shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) for orientation and unit familiarization.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely throughout the facility as needed
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures
• Lift and move heavy items in support of surgical services operations
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment
• Complete required facility assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the surgical specialty preferred; required for submission consideration
• Active BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Permanent Ohio license or compact license required — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single location preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with surgical room turnover and patient transport procedures
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (two attempts maximum allowed)
