Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day: 7:00–19:00 / Night: 19:00–7:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a liver transplant/care IMC/PCU step-down unit
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including post-transplant populations
• Document all clinical assessments and interventions using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Must adhere to facility natural nail policy
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility (as traveler or permanent staff) must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate — no radius restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in a liver transplant or transplant care setting
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or step-down unit environment
