Contract (13 or 26 weeks) | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Adhere to infant-driven feeding protocols, including Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification requirements
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Participate in weekend rotations (3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period) and holiday coverage, including 2 of 3 winter holidays
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification required (may be pending at time of submission)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• This unit observes a 50-mile travel restriction; local candidates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Strong familiarity with neonatal assessment and infant-driven feeding practices
