Seasonal Travel RN – Orthopedic (Night Shift)

Denver, CO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neurology unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
  • Care for patients undergoing total joint procedures including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as spine surgery
  • Utilize unit equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
  • Collaborate with charge RNs, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries across night shift operations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of current Orthopedic RN or Medical/Surgical experience in a hospital setting
  • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or Compact license eligibility)
  • BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Orthopedic and/or spine surgery experience strongly preferred
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience with Meditech EMR
  • Energetic, empathetic personality with a collaborative team-oriented approach
