Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical ICU setting with diagnoses including oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, GI bleed, sepsis, pulmonary hypertension, and autoimmune disorders
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Perform and assist with procedures including CRRT, chest tube management, central venous catheter care, and plasmapheresis
• Administer chemotherapy, complex medication regimens, and support patients enrolled in clinical trials
• Support patients undergoing bronchoscopy or endoscopy for underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic (required)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency with ventilator management and IV starts
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical ICU or similar high-acuity critical care environment
• Familiarity with oncology patient populations and chemotherapy administration protocols
• Experience with CRRT and hemodynamic monitoring in critically ill patients
