Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined PCU and medical-surgical unit environment with up to 24 beds, including 9 cardiac stepdown beds
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:3–5 depending on unit census and acuity
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate-level nursing care
• Administer and monitor IV insulin drips and cardiac-related therapies as required
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Document all patient care accurately using the facility's electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and intermediate-level nursing skills
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac stepdown patients
• Experience managing IV insulin drips (GTT)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown setting
