Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit in a telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for cardiovascular patients
• Maintain a full patient ratio and deliver safe, high-quality nursing care throughout each shift
• Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity, assuming a full patient ratio as required
• Adhere to facility orientation schedule and complete all required credentialing prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• BLS certification required
• EKG test must be passed at 80% or higher prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 prior travel contract required
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• Strong cardiovascular nursing background required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a dedicated cardiovascular or telemetry unit
• Comfort with floating to varied units and adapting quickly to different patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiovascular med/surg patient care and associated protocols
