Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients
• Perform and assist with procedures including splinting, EKGs, central line management, airway support, trauma assists, and resuscitation
• Operate specialized equipment such as Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
• Document patient care accurately using the MEDITECH electronic medical records system
• Support behavioral health de-escalation and provide central monitoring as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS — candidates without these certifications will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR
• Trauma nursing experience
• Experience holding inpatient patients within an emergency department setting
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
