Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (3:00–15:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:3 depending on acuity
- Manage and support High Risk OB patients requiring specialized monitoring and intervention
- Float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum units based on unit needs
- Participate in on-call rotation; if cancelled, on-call availability is required
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Chart accurately and efficiently using Epic
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Ability to float to sister facilities as needed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with High Risk Antepartum and Postpartum patient populations
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
- Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling and floating between units
