Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Contract | 13 Weeks | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assess patient acuity and assign appropriate triage level in a 22-bed Emergency Department
• Identify and prioritize patient needs, coordinating diagnostic tests and treatments to ensure timely care and patient flow through the ED
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement appropriate plans of care
• Maintain patient safety at all times while demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changes in patient volume
• Document all patient care using Meditech EMR
• Foster positive, professional relationships with nursing units and ancillary departments to support team-based care

Required Qualifications

• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ENPC certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
