Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with RN scope of practice, considering patient culture, age, and developmental level
• Develop individualized care plans, determine desired outcomes in coordination with patients and families, and implement nursing interventions with clinical autonomy
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition; conduct ongoing assessments and document responses to procedures and therapies
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including discharge teaching and coordination with Case Management
• Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor accuracy and completeness of delegated patient care provided by other team members
• Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, patient falls, pressure ulcer prevention, CAUTIs, and documentation auditing

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) required
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care team members
• Proficiency with or ability to be trained on computer systems and clinical applications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous nursing experience; 3–4 years of experience highly preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, Recovery, or Postpartum care settings
