Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Every other weekend rotation (approximately 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed cardiac medical-surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Administer and monitor vasoactive and cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
• Perform and assist with chest tube management, wound vac management, and ad lib EKGs
• Document telemetry application, acknowledge and chart rhythm strips each shift, and adhere to unit NO PASS ZONE policy for bed alarms, call lights, and IV alarms
• Conduct bedside and hourly rounding utilizing the 5P framework; communicate patient needs to PCTs at the start of and throughout each shift
• Document using Meditech-HCA; administer medications via WOW workstations and PyxisES dispensing system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac nursing background or demonstrated cardiac knowledge
• Experience with vasoactive drip management (Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Amiodarone)
• Familiarity with Meditech-HCA documentation systems
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
