Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 37-bed Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6 (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)
- Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, including Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies
- Operate and manage equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
- Assist with central line care and administration of medication drips
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of current Telemetry hospital experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel experience at large teaching facilities
- Previous experience with Meditech EMR
