Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Evenings (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) or Nights (3:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Manage and support High Risk OB patients as a primary responsibility of this role
- Float to Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) and Postpartum/Special Care Unit (PSCU) based on unit needs
- Participate in on-call obligations on days when scheduled shifts are cancelled
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Must be available to float to sister facilities based on system needs
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals considered at a modified rate)
- Background must be clear; facility does not accept background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patient populations
- Familiarity with Mother-Baby or postpartum care settings
- Flexibility to adapt to shift start times of either 3:00 AM/3:00 PM or 11:00 AM/11:00 PM with reasonable advance notice
