Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | No Call | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Fetal Testing Center setting under a Labor & Delivery specialty scope
- Monitor and assess fetal and maternal status, documenting findings accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform and interpret fetal surveillance testing in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care plans and communicate changes in patient condition
- Maintain compliance with all unit-specific policies, safety standards, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- AWHONN certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Fetal Testing Center or antepartum monitoring environment
- Familiarity with fetal surveillance techniques including non-stress tests and biophysical profiles
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
