Respiratory Therapist – Peds/Adult (Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics)

Contract (13 or 26 Weeks) | 3x12-Hour Variable Shifts | Day and Night Shifts Available | Onsite | Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult ICU, PICU, and Level 3 NICU settings, floating to cover all units as needed
- Administer and manage a full range of RT therapies including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, nitric oxide, and Flolan nebulizer treatments
- Operate and monitor ventilators including Draeger (adult), Servo-I (PICU/NICU), 3100A, 3100B, and Jet ventilators in NICU
- Support trauma cases in a Level II Trauma facility serving both adult and pediatric populations, including patients undergoing open heart surgery
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in holiday coverage; must be available to work at least 3 of 5 designated major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience — required (hard stop)
- Trauma experience required
- Active, valid state respiratory therapy license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, CRT
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Willingness to float within scope across NICU, PICU, and adult units to meet facility needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
- Experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, and Servo-I ventilators
- Combined experience across Level 3 NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU settings
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
