Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 1900–0730

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Float to areas within acuity as needed to support staffing requirements
• Participate in holiday coverage on an every-other basis and weekend rotation (every other weekend)
• Coordinate timely patient handoff at change of shift, including outstanding tasks and relevant clinical updates not captured in the EMR
• Adhere to meal break policies and departmental scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active Delaware RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience — no exceptions
• Recent hands-on experience with Epic EMR required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles are welcome to apply under local terms
• All required certifications must be current and provided at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency departments
• Familiarity with rapid assessment and triage protocols
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration and handoff
