Job Summary

As a Tech - IR/Special Procedures, you will play a critical role in supporting our Interventional Radiology department, providing high-quality imaging services to patients undergoing special procedures. You will work closely with our team of radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and other special procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including imaging results and procedure reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in radiography technology
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and well-being

Requirements

• Certification/License/Registration: ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) required. Must be certified in one of the following within two years of hire: ARRT-CI Cardiac-Interventional (ARRT-CI), ARRT-CV Cardiovasc-Inter Rad (ARRT-CV), or ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI), ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI) or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV)
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• 2+ years of experience in radiography, with a strong foundation in radiography principles and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
