Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse - MDS Coordinator to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - MDS Coordinator, you will provide high-quality care to our residents while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Complete the assigned portions of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) for Nursing, ensuring accuracy and validity • Maintain resident self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality of personal information • Assist in maintaining safe, pleasant, and orderly resident living areas • Complete nursing portions of MDS and review for completion and validity • Query other team members for accuracy of MDS and provide final quality check prior to transmission • Communicate with physicians using center/campus systems • Direct and assist with coworker, resident, family/significant other education • Provide support and recognition to coworkers related to completion of the RAI/MDS process • Utilize the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) accurately

Basic Responsibilities:

• Comply with all related laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures pertaining to the position • Fulfill obligations under the Society's Corporate Compliance Program

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing • RN nursing licensure for state of practice required • Certification through AANAC as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) within 6 months of hire

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate and comprehend • Knowledge of the RAI/MDS process and basic nursing skills

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise level • Frequency of travel may vary based on business need • Weight lifting requirement: 25 lbs.
