Position: Director of Emergency Services Department
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: Days | Salary: $130K–$140K+ (DOE; up to $145K for 10+ yrs exp.)

A leading acute care hospital in Houston is seeking a Director of Emergency Services to lead operations for a busy Emergency Department in a 300+ bed facility. This hospital has a long-standing reputation for excellence, advanced certifications, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Position Overview:
The Director will oversee the Emergency Department’s operations, staffing, quality initiatives, and compliance to ensure delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations, patient care, and staffing

• Lead patient satisfaction and quality improvement efforts

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards

• Mentor and develop clinical and leadership teams

• Manage departmental budget and strategic planning

Qualifications:

• 2+ years RECENT acute care Director of ED experience (or strong ED Manager with 3–5 yrs leadership exp.)

• BSN required; MSN/MBA/MHA preferred

• Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)

• ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and BLS required
