Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Location: Asheville, NC Schedule: Nights Job Type: Travel About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Telemetry Nurse at a leading healthcare facility. This is a temporary, travel opportunity for a 13-week period. Unit Information: * 4 West Adult Med Surg Unit * 34 beds * Day shift: 1 Charge, 6-7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 Huc * Night shift: 1 Charge, 5-7 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 Huc * Patient ratios: Day shift 1: 4-6, Night shift 1: 5-7 * Telemetry rhythm capabilities required Key Responsibilities: * Assess and care for adult patients with various medical conditions * Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Charge RN or Manager * Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians * Participate in huddles at 0650 AM and 1850 PM to discuss patient care * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care Required Qualifications: * Telemetry rhythm capabilities * Critical thinking and time management skills * Ability to assess med surg level patients and alert Charge RN/Manager/Rapid Response/Provider when acuity level changes * Good communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: * ACLS certification * Experience in med surg units and emergency department * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts What We Offer: * Competitive travel pay rate * Opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization * Chance to gain experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding travel opportunity, apply today!
