Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assisting with exercises, modalities, and activities of daily living. • Conduct patient assessments, record progress, and communicate with the physical therapist and other healthcare professionals as needed. • Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, adhering to infection control and HIPAA guidelines. • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, lifestyle modifications, and home care instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field. • Completion of a state-approved physical therapist assistant program. • Valid certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Illinois.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
