Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assistance to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist • Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and exercises to promote rehabilitation and recovery • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient needs and goals • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field • Certification as a physical therapy assistant (CPTA) or eligibility for certification • Basic life support (BLS) certification • Ability to lift patients up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience as a physical therapy assistant or in a related healthcare field • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
