Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Newark, DE

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days, Monday-Friday (with flexibility for mid-shifts and call)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room on the Open Heart Team
• Assist with cardiac and cardiovascular surgery procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with surgical team members to deliver compassionate and effective patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the CVOR team

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Cardiac Open-Heart surgery experience is essential
• BSN preferred; commitment to obtaining within three years of hire with relevant experience considered
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including day shifts and open heart call

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in Magnet-recognized hospital environments
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of cardiac surgery procedures and perioperative care

This position offers a $50,000 sign-on bonus, payable over 24 months, for qualified CVOR experienced candidates.
