Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level II trauma center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately using electronic health records.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and hospital policies, including certifications and protocols.
• Demonstrate excellent patient experience skills, including respectful communication and the use of AIDET.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume emergency department.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (or able to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to work in all areas of the emergency department and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Experience with Cerner documentation system and GE monitors preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous HCA system experience.
• Experience working with a multicultural patient population and handling high acuity cases.
• Flexibility to float within all ED sections if needed.
