Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Salisbury, MD
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for pregnant patients from around the 16th week of pregnancy through postpartum, including immediate postpartum and neonatal care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans aligned with ANA Standards and the Nursing Process.
• Educate patients and families on self-care, pregnancy, and postpartum matters.
• Assist with medication administration, including inventory, distribution, and delivery as needed.
• Utilize clinical equipment and technology proficiently, demonstrating technical competence in nursing procedures.
• Support families experiencing pregnancy loss with compassionate care and communication.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification within 2 years of hire.
• Experience or training in maternal-fetal support and neonatal care preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing.
• Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts as assigned, with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts.
• Strong patient advocacy and communication skills.
