Travel, 13-week assignment, 2:45 PM – 3:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform advanced procedures including trauma assessment and stroke care.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner electronic health record system.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
• Support department teamwork and deliver respectful, compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a high-volume ER (>100,000 visits annually).
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend, and float within the ED as needed.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Prior employment with HCA or similar healthcare system.
• Familiarity with GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and Cerner documentation system.
• Bilingual skills, with experience serving multicultural communities (over 120 languages spoken locally).
