Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents' health status, document care activities, and report changes to physicians and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to resident safety and quality of care.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to enhance resident outcomes.
• Support infection control protocols and safety initiatives within the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for long-term care facilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working specifically in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Familiarity with quality improvement processes and data analysis.
• Leadership skills or prior experience supervising or mentoring staff.
