Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, with optional day, evening, or night shifts; may include weekends and overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with ANA Standards and the Nursing Process.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing support, education, and direct care to patients and families.
- Skillfully utilize equipment and technology to perform nursing procedures.
- Educate patients and families on significant self-care issues.
- Assist with inventory, medication distribution, and delivery when required.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure and registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of residence.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of AORN’s Perioperative (Periop 101) course upon hire.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous operating room or perioperative nursing experience.
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate surgical equipment.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
