Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and special procedures under physician guidance.
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as catheterizations, angiograms, and other minimally invasive interventions.
- Ensure proper operation and safety of imaging equipment during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.
- Collaborate with medical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-R Radiography certification.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Willingness to cross-train to IR Rad Tech if current experience meets criteria.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of radiologic technology experience.
- Experience with interventional procedures or special procedure environments.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology protocols and safety procedures.
