Full-time, Night shifts, 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in labor and delivery units.
• Assist with childbirth, including inductions, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures.
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using standard charting systems such as Cerner.
• Administer medications and manage epidurals, magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and insulin drips.
• Support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Float to various units such as antenatal, high risk, OB triage, and postpartum as needed.

Required Qualifications

• DE or Compact RN license in hand.
• Valid RN license with license number and expiration date.
• At least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
• Certification in surgical technology (if applicable).
• Full SSN, date of birth, and current address.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-risk pregnancies.
• Knowledge of advanced obstetrics procedures like external cephalic version and fetal demise management.
• Strong skills in handling emergency procedures related to labor and delivery.
