Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.
- Assist surgical teams during complex cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient vitals and responses throughout the surgical process.
- Implement and follow sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
- Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience.
- Proven ability to assist in cardiovascular surgeries and work in a fast-paced OR environment.
- Strong understanding of surgical asepsis and patient monitoring.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with HCA Florida Lawnwood or similar hospital settings.
- Familiarity with surgical equipment and instrumentation used in cardiovascular surgeries.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or perioperative nursing certifications.
