Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Manage telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation, ensuring prompt response to cardiac issues.
• Administer IV medications such as insulin and heparin according to protocols.
• Monitor and manage patients with renal failure and utilize vasoactive drips, including titration.
• Perform wound care, including wound vac management, and utilize non-invasive airway devices like CPAP/BIPAP.
• Collaborate with rapid response teams and document patient care accurately in electronic health records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an emergency or acute care setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Skilled in telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and ICU/step-down care.
• Knowledge of IV protocols and critical patient stabilization procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record documentation.
• Proficiency in managing patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions.
• Familiarity with renal failure management and blood product administration.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment.
