Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating weekends, no guaranteed hours but typically 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU environment, including ECMO, heart transplant, CABG, and ventilated patients
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters, perform advanced patient assessments, and respond to emergent situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech system
• Ensure patient safety through bedside shift reports and adherence to unit protocols
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temp licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including high-acuity settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patients, and post-CABG care
• Ability to work night shift and adapt to floating policies as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Meditech electronic health record experience
• CVICU experience and advanced ICU skills
• Experience with ECMO and transplant patient care
