Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel contract, days shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Assist with patient rounds and participate in care conferences.
• Implement treatment plans and provide therapy services in various settings including patient rooms, hallway, outdoor areas, and rehab gym.
• Communicate regularly with the rehab team regarding patient progress, equipment needs, and discharge planning.
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner and NetHealth systems.
• Float between acute hospital, swing bed, nursing home, and outpatient services as needed.

Required Qualifications

• NC Physical Therapy license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital or nursing home settings.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a rehab-focused hospital or nursing home environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple clinical settings.
