Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations for students enrolled in school programs.
• Provide in-service training on clinical topics to program staff.
• Collaborate with families regarding testing, treatment, and behavioral strategies.
• Design and implement individual and group behavior management plans.
• Offer crisis intervention within classroom settings.
• Provide ongoing behavioral support and consultation to staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation teams and student planning meetings.
• Develop or adapt assessment tools for student evaluations.
• Prepare reports on student progress, observations, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation of services.
• Assist in screening and evaluating students for placement decisions.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and C.A.G.S. from a NASP-approved program in school psychology or equivalent.
• Massachusetts DESE Certification as a School Psychologist.
• Minimum one year of experience as a school psychologist.
• Alternatively, Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure appropriate to clinical discipline.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience participating in interdisciplinary evaluation teams.
• Ability to develop behavioral management strategies.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and staff.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
