Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status, ensuring safe and efficient recovery.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress and care performed during recovery.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Support patient comfort and address immediate postoperative needs.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or valid multi-state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the PACU or similar recovery setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work day shifts scheduled from 7 am to 7 pm.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and procedures.
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills.

Special Notes
- No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
- Must commit to working 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
- This assignment is for 13 weeks, with extended recovery responsibilities.
