Nights, 13-week contract, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare team to assess patient needs and facilitate recovery process
- Document patient information accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS guidelines
- Work during designated major and minor holidays as required, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or Acute Care setting
- Valid BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong background in acute care nursing with PACU specialization
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible holiday schedules
