Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in alignment with physician requests and established protocols.
• Assist in advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR, with a focus on at least 25% of work in these areas.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with patients, providing care and explanation to ensure comfort and understanding during procedures.
• Follow all departmental policies for patient safety, radiation safety, and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Texas Medical Board.
• ARRT-CT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification.
• ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Less than 1 year of imaging experience.
• Knowledge of multiple imaging modalities including MRI, Nuc Med, or Interventional Radiology.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
