• Night shift / 13-week contract (Travel)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments following safety protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, manage symptoms, and educate patients and families.
• Document clinical assessments and interventions accurately using electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in oncology or med-surg units.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Certification in chemotherapy or oncology nursing.
• Experience with pelvic exams, echocardiograms, or thoracentesis procedures.
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
