Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans tailored to the age-specific needs of the patient population.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and compliance with hospital standards, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote understanding and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control protocols, and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or acute care ICU experience.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and crisis events effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
