• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, acute care

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care for adult and geriatric patients in a new tower setting specializing in leukemia and hematology
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias, and utilize rapid response teams as needed
• Manage IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care including PICC lines
• Ensure infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention strategies are followed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of patient safety and care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients with complex hematology needs
• Proficiency in IV therapy, blood draws, and central line management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ONS Chemotherapy Certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with infection control and fall prevention protocols
