Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP
Location: Belleville, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts, 10-hour shifts (4x10)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage post-procedure recovery in a busy acute care hospital setting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care during procedures.
• Float within scope between facilities as needed to meet operational demands.
• Assist with radial access procedures and sheath pulls, following established protocols.
• Adhere to infection control standards, including use of designated scrub colors and charting with EPIC.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license for the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• On-call availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, including procedural support and emergency call.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Radial access experience and sheath pull procedures.
• Experienced with TR bands or similar hemostasis devices.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
