- Full-time, travel, night shift (7 PM - 7 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk obstetrical nursing care in a busy labor and delivery unit.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates using GE fetal monitors and document patient status accurately.
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure safe and high-quality patient care.
- Float to antepartum unit as needed and adhere to hospital guidelines.
- Maintain a sterile, professional environment adhering to dress code and policy standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery nursing.
- Valid RN license.
- Certification in intermediate fetal monitoring (AWONN preferred).
- Experience with vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&C, and postpartum care.
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and rotating schedule.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-acuity obstetrical care and recovery.
- Knowledge of Meditech and CPNS documentation systems.
- Ability to manage high-risk obstetrical patients confidently.
- Strong understanding of unit-specific procedures and safety protocols.
