Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel, days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to diverse patient populations, including NICU and ICU cases.
• Perform procedures such as ABGs, intubation assistance, nebulizer treatments, and vent management.
• Document patient care in Meditech system accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies, including dress code and infection control guidelines.
• Support patient and family education on respiratory health and treatments.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, including ICU and NICU preferred.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license.
• Ability to draw ABGs and assist with intubation and ventilator management.
• Experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and comfort working with all age groups.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU and ED experience.
• Hands-on experience with Metaneb, PTP, and other advanced respiratory procedures.
• Flexible and able to float across units if needed.
