Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical patients.
• Ensure delivery of quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process, standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Act as a patient advocate throughout the surgical experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to coordinate patient care and maintain patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon or proper compact licensure.
• Experience in perioperative or Operating Room nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, standards of care, and infection control protocols.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in an acute care hospital setting, specifically in the OR.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
