Job Title
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location
• Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• No holidays; on-call duties; weekends required twice a month for PET/CT scans on Saturdays
Key Responsibilities
• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans, in accordance with hospital protocols
• Operate Siemens equipment and utilize diagnostic imaging technologies
• Obtain and maintain radiation badge credentials prior to assignment
• Ensure safety and compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging results
• Adhere to quality and safety standards, including trauma level considerations when applicable
Required Qualifications
• Radiation badge provided by agency (must be supplied prior to start)
• Valid certifications: NMTCB and ARRT with Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Computed Tomography credentials
• State licenses in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography (SCRQSA)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Open to first-time travelers with proper credentials
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in Level 1 or Level II trauma settings preferred
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including potential Saturday shifts
