Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shift, 13-week assignment, full-time (12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric ICU patients in a high-acuity environment
• Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics, ventilators, and ICP
• Perform procedures such as IV starts, caths, trach care, and central line dressing changes
• Administer medications via IV pumps and maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Pediatric and NICU units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure
• At least 1 year of recent PICU experience
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care procedures
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
